UG Plant Lab

The focus of the UG plant lab is covering both basic and applied problems in plant biotechnology and disease diagnosis for both undergraduate and research students. Research interests encompass plant systematic and medical Microbiology. The designing of the experiments is based on the ultimate goal of understanding plant ethnobotany, plant genetics, plant virology, its interaction with vector/ other plants and against various microbial strains and exploring the phylogenetics of the plants.
