Probiotics and Functional Foods Research Group

The group aims at unraveling various aspects of probiotics and prebiotics and evaluating their potential to develop functional foods, food and feed additives. Currently we are working to control Ischemic Heart Disease by using probiotics and other nutraceuticals. We conduct research to control food pathogens through various probiotics based approaches. The products of our research are intended for various food, feed and pharmaceutical industries.
