Rabia Masud gets selected for Leading International Vaccinology Education (LIVE) 2019 Programme from Erasmus+-

Rabia Masud is an alumni from Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences who graduated from the undergraduate programme in 2017. She has been selected for the Leading International Vaccinology Education (LIVE) 2019 Programme from Erasmus+. Over 1000 applicants applied to the programme which has a selection rate of 3.6%. Out of the 25 students selected from 22 different nationalities, Rabia is the only Pakistani and the first one from NUST who has been awarded this auspicious scholarship. LIVE is a two-year programme for talented and motivated students interested in multidisciplinary studies in Vaccinology. It is a joint project between five European universities, each one awarding a Masters degree of excellent quality. Its academic internationality is enriched by a worldwide network of 13 academic universities from Brazil, Japan, Europe and USA. Her European education will be co-delivered by the following universities getting a chance to study at each one for a semester:
- Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) , Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain),
- University of Antwerp (Belgium) ,
- Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) and Université Jean Monet Saint-Etienne (France) .
Rabia plans to utilize the expertise she gains from the programme to be able to contribute to the growing public health sector of Pakistan.
