Dr.Muhammad Faraz Bhatti gets selected for the Charles Wallace Fellowship (19-20)

Dr.Muhammad Faraz Bhatti has been recently selected for a competitive fellowship sponsored by British Council (Charles Wallace Fellowship 19 -20). During this fellowship (September- November 2019) Dr Bhatti will be working on invasive human pathogen (Aspergillus fumigatus) at Manchester Fungal Infection Group (MFIG), which is a centre of excellence for fungal infection biology and translational antifungal research at The University of Manchester, UK. Dr Bhatti will be using CRISPR mediated gene editing strategies to control this invasive human pathogen. He has also delivered a talk in MFIG meeting at AV Hill Building on 8th of October, 2019. His visit will help in establishing collaboration with MFIG in the long run.
