Summary

Dr. Fazal Adnan, Tenured Professor and Head of Department of Microbiology & Biotechnology at the Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences (ASAB), National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST). He is a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from University of Giessen Germany. Dr Adnan research group (Antibacter) is working on AMR with special focus on one health and novel antibacterial strategies like phage therapy, quorum quenching, ionic compounds etc. He has published his research work in prestigious journals like Microbial Biotechnology, Microbiology Spectrum and RNA Biology. He has secured various national and international grants worth 100 Million PKR from funding agencies like Swissnex and Leading House Switzerland, Helmholtz and DAAD Germany.
