Dr. Aneela Javed Associate Professor ASAB, NUST as a part of International Consortium awarded GCRF project on Gastroenteritis by UKRI

Dr. Aneela Javed, Associate professor ASAB, NUST along with IESE researchers and a team of researchers from the UK have won the prestigious GCRF (Global challenges research fund). The project is quantifying the transmission routes of gastroenteritis (GastroPak) as part of consortium grants worth GBP 2 million out of which 0.534 million has been granted to NUST. 

The research is aimed at quantifying the rate of different non-viral gastroenteritis transmission in Pakistan including agriculture, sanitation drinking water, food and person-to-person contacts.
